Jonny was ahead of schedule but called to make sure that was ok. He was VERY knowledgeable and worked with me to decipher my town's very sparse and unclear billing system and we even spoke to the water department together to get more information. We quickly determined there was nothing wrong with the house and we moved to the sprinkler system where we counted all the sprinkler heads, checked them all, and then did a whole lot of math. He was never in a hurry and was incredibly thorough and diligent. He answered all of my questions patiently and was very honest and transparent. He got to the bottom of my high bill mystery and left me with some contractor recommendations and suggestions for a path forward. I sincerely hope that I do not require another leak detectorist service but if I do I will absolutely give Sonar a call and would recommend them to others. I should also note that their services were more affordable than other agencies I contacted trying to get an appointment. Thank you Jonny and Sonar team for helping me solve this mystery and for giving me peace of mind going forward. Worth every penny 🙂

We had a huge water bill and began the hunt for a leak. After our handyman found no trace inside or out, we had to call a leak detection company.... read more Finding a ridiculous charge for most companies with a huge upfront fee, we found Sonar. Spoke to Johnny and his company Sonar Leak Detection comes out at no charge to find if you have a leak and location - he came out the next day and found nothing leaking currently and that it was something that had passed or a mistake by the water company. He wrote a letter to the water company about this for us. If you have a leak and repair it I have heard the water company will credit you with the bill overage charges.
What a relief. Johnny was bright, respectful, friendly and easy to work with- don’t hesitate to call Sonar immediately when in need. It will solve your water problems efficiently and hopefully save you in many ways.

In the end they traced it to a small leak from my RO system that was dripping into the drain pipe, so no external water would have ever been visible. I would have never found this on my own. I was highly impressed by their expertise in this field. For leak detection, they will always be my first call.
